Hi there!
This is Hermina. One of the humans behind the Hatch. And yes, you are seeing it right - we are starting a Substack!
If you are reading this, that means you are already on our email list. Perhaps you have attended one of our programs, participated in our interventions, or experienced one of our events.
There is also a chance you simply stumbled upon our Substack profile.
Whatever the path, we are glad you are here with us. Welcome!
Why this, why now?
We have decided to begin writing on Substack to document our journey, along with sharing all the resources and tools that you can start using right away, such as this one: Mindset Check-in.
Try using it at the beginning of your next team meeting to allow yourself and/or your team to leave other mental load behind and become present in the here and now. Learn more about managing mental load here in one of our Wired to Lead episodes.
We promise to keep this space human, with no AI-generated content. It will always be one of us writing to you. Human to human.
Backed by neuroscience, Hatch is the human anchor in an automated digital tsunami.
Spill the Tea
Before we continue, can I offer you some CuriosiTEA or perhaps HonesTEA?
While I pop the kettle on, you might want to check out Spill the Tea, our freshly launched and curated storytelling night for expats, startup survivors, and corporate professionals to share all their simmering frustrations about international working life in the Netherlands.
At this point, we have only a couple of spots left, so if this is your cup of tea, don’t wait any longer and apply now.
Use It or Lose It
If you have been following our LinkedIn, you might have noticed that our focus these days has been on pinpointing the Human Advantage in AI-driven age.
That’s because we have been designing a new program, Human Advantage: Use It or Lose It, that will help organisations harvest the power of AI without losing sight of the Human Advantage. Find the full brochure here.
The Story of How Hatch Got Hatched
If we have never properly met and you wondered how Hatch became who we are today, here is the story.
Our dream was to bring people together. We wanted to mix artists with founders, corporate ladder climbers with big-picture thinkers, and perfectionists with people who just wanted to do great stuff.
Most of all, we wanted to develop curiosity, the one specific human capacity we felt the world needed most.
Groetjes from the Hatch House
Have you already been to Hatch House?
For the last couple of months, we have moved into our new space and already started booking workshops as well as launching Hatch events, most recently Soup Talks.
Apart from our own events, we are now also opening our doors and sponsoring communities whose mission and values resonate with ours.

Very exciting first substack post!
Looking forward to following what’s going to hatch here! 🫶🏻
